Nick Jensen : Shredding The Rad In Barcelona

GETME! member Nick Jensen recently got back from a skate trip to Barcelona. He documented his trip.

Ok, so I recently arrived back from a spontaneously organized skate trip to Barcelona. We had a couple of fellow shredders already living / staying in town, so it was always going to be a well-informed skate holiday.
Chewy is the main man! He moved over there a few months ago so I was looking forward to seeing his new apartment.  Tuukka our finish friend was also about as well Kevin from Canada. From this side of the ocean we had Rob Mathieson , Smithy , Sylvan , Lex and Morph.

I have picked out a few of my favourite photos for you to see.

This was the scene at Chewy’s place, watching You tube whilst the others smoked at least 6 of these a night.

This is what I decided to start the healthy week off!

Around midweek we went on an exhibitiontion to a skate spot because Smithy wanted to try this mega gnarly trick.
I am keeping it under wraps though, you will have to watch the Blueprint video to see it!

When we finally got to the skate spot, right at the top of the Hill/ Mountain we were greeted with this.

Smithy had an audience.

Both Lex, and Morph asked this guy to film from his house. He was so up for it, it was amazing.
He told us that he was a coke dealer and sold a kg of coke at 35.000 Euros.

Sylvan looks like he is up to something sketchy?

Even Grandma was stoked.

Another day, another group shot including Steve chilling at the bar.

Previously we had warp whistled to the yellow bank level.

Night time beer sesh.

New Day, time for art, a visit to the inside of MACBA , probably the most famous skate spot in the whole world.

This is what lurks outside.

Rob has a blog and he takes lovely Polaroid’s. This one is of Morph. Art, ahhh.

Morph’s favourite restaurant, he only eats yellow food, and wraps chicken skin around chips.

Skated past Shier’s old apartment, its top right hand window on the second building (more towards the background).

Kevin was loving his backside 5.0’s on this.

It’s a shame he threw the wax without thinking.

Lex was telling us how he used to have a pair of Nikes in both red and black and sometimes he would wear them as an odd pair back in school.
He stretched the hell out of my shoe.

He just wants you to know that he is not a pussy!

More playground antics while smithy shows his enthusiasm.

Although he does get excited over little babies made out of wax, especially the ones you find under wheelie bins.
